Death or “Graduation”?

Is it death or, as my good friend calls it, “Graduation”?

In the tarot, the Death card is considered by some to be scary or negative in some way and it may even signify real physical death to some card readers. The real interpretation for this card is “Transformation”. There are many deaths or transformations in life and they are all opportunities to transform into someone new, to claim a deeper and more meaningful part of the Self. All of the small deaths in life are leading up to that “final” death at the end of this life.

Or is it final? I believe there is no final death, but only a transformation or “graduation” into another form of existence in the “spiritual” realm. And if you believe there is no separation, then we are already spirit and we are just letting go of this physical existence and stepping into our True Selves that we have been striving to be during our whole physical existence.

My good friend, Suzanne, has just graduated. I believe she is now extremely happy and is still here to help me and all of her friends on our spiritual journey on this earth. In some ways, I am angry that she left me here and went home and I feel a great loss. In other ways, I am very happy for her. Thank you for being my friend, Suzanne. I love you and I already miss your physical presence.
