Just Be
I’m sitting here to write this blog post and getting the message to just be. Learn to just be. I don’t have to do anything at any one time. Learn to just be. This is one of the hardest things for me and most of us living in the US. I have been trained for my entire life to compel myself to do something every minute of every waking hour. I even program myself to do something just before I go to sleep at night. Sheesh!
I even feel guilty if I haven’t accomplished something, anything. I was even feeling antsy about getting this blog post done.
One way for me to just be is to take just one minute a few times a day to just breath. That is all. And as I was writing this sentence, I thought that I could also remember that by breathing I inhale all the oxygen being generated by all the trees and foliage around me and then I give back by breathing out carbon dioxide for all the trees to take in. That is an amazing thought and Dr. Peebles has stated that is all we really need to do. That is enough. On the other hand, that is a lot of stuff to think about, when the point of my breathing is to just BE!
Again, I do not need to do anything while I am allowing myself to sit and breath. Just focus on my breath and nothing else. Breath in, breath out. That is all…
