Keep it Simple (Stupid)!

My wife and I were talking about religion the other day. Religion can be good as a guiding force in our lives. It can also be used to confuse the heck out of us in order to convince us that we don’t really know how to live and that we need someone outside of ourselves to explain life to us. Some of us souls, on this journey we call life, want to experience that religious journey, and to be led by someone else, who has the “credentials” necessary to lead. All experiences are valid and there is no right or wrong way. The key point to remain aware of is that we are all one and there is no separation. So the “someone with the credentials” is really us.
I believe we all need some guidance at some point in our lives to help us to understand that we are in charge and responsible for our own life. Anyone who has “a path” that they want you to follow should be helping you to see that you are ultimately responsible. If they are not helping you to see this, I suggest looking elsewhere.
