Oneness or Separation
We are here to dissolve the illusion of separation. What does that mean? How do we do that? Those are good questions. I have been striving for years to change my perception from seeing everything and everyone as separate to seeing and feeling that I am one with all.
A quote that I use quite often is, “You are me cleverly disguised as you”. I know in my heart that this is true, but what does it really mean? I do not intellectually understand how I can be one with all of existence. It’s something I just believe, that I feel in my heart. I don’t really comprehend how it works.
How does the oneness principle work? I found this definition of The Oneness Principle on the Internet, “is the recognition of the Divine in everyone and everything and allowing meaningful, loving connections with others”. It’s tough to define oneness when even our language promotes separation. “Others” promotes separation. “They” and “Them”, “We” and “Us” all promote separation. But these terms allow us to describe what we see around us. And that is the challenge. Our eyes and our other four senses deceive us.
Dr. Peebles described oneness, and that we are all connected, in a way that just made more sense to me. He said that we are all connected by Love. We are All Love. Love is what binds us and makes us one. What is Love? Love is God and God is Love and I don’t know how to express it in any other way. Oneness is Love is God is Devine. Anything that attempts to convince us otherwise is an illusion. Is not the Truth.
We are all Love. We are all light beings. So we are all made up of the same stuff, Love. And if we are all Love and Love is God, then we are all God.
